Home to more than a million Sri Lankan's the Uva province is one of the island's most beautiful and commercially unexploited regions.Consisting of the administrative districts of Badula andMonaragala the Uva province combines steep mountainous areas that produce some of the finest teas in the world, and gently undulating plains of vast agricultural potential. The province lies south east of the central mountains and is served by five major towns.
