The centre for economic development and administration (CEDA) is a pioneering institution in Nepal in the field of development research. Since its establishment in 1969, under the tripartite agreement between his majesty's government of Nepal Tribhuvan university and the ford foundation it has been contributing to the policy makers through its research and consultancy works and of course through training activities. Now there has been a great proliferation in these activities and consequently there is a proliferation of similar institutions both in public and privet sector. So there is a greater scop and prospect for networking the development research internally. As for the external linkages, this center has remained a focal point for many of the external development organizations.en_US
