| dc.description.abstract | The economic, social and political structures in Sri Lanka and the totality of the underlying value system which provides the society its cohesion and sense of purpose have in the recent past been in deep crisis.This has been the case in almost all parts of the country and society. While conditions remain in crisis in most of the north and the east, some normally has been brought back to the rest of the country through extremely repressive measures. It is common knowledge that is basically the country's youth who have been in revolt against the system. It is too early to say that conditions underlying the youth dissatisfaction in the country have been successfully eliminated. | en_US |
